ENGLIO LESSON LIBRARY

Your lessons

Choose a lesson to edit, or create a new one.

Prepare a local video, then host playback on YouTube

AI is optional. You can create and edit lessons without AI credits by setting each segment’s in and out points and entering the English transcript and Japanese translation manually. Credits are only used when you run AI authoring.

YouTube authoring creates an initial draft directly from public videos. Choose Local file authoring for a file on your computer.

If you need a local copy of a YouTube video, external services such as ytultra’s YouTube Video Downloader offer downloads. Use material you are entitled to use; Englio does not download videos for you.

Open YouTube Video Downloader

Use YouTube for student playback. In our testing it has offered faster, more responsive playback. Create a YouTube account if needed, upload your video, and add its link to the lesson. Use the same edit and timing, and allow embedding.

One local video at a time. Opening another replaces the working video after confirmation. Your original file and saved lesson text are kept. Local videos are for authoring only; save your draft now and add a YouTube link to make it available to students.

Culture & idioms

AI-generated explanation. Ask your teacher if anything seems unclear.

Preview generation

Save your edits first. Choose the segments to prepare. Completed content is reused; student buttons appear when ready.

Saved content is free. Completed items are charged; failed items are refunded. Student playback has no AI charge.

Start with the big picture

It is okay to understand very little

Watch and listen a few times without subtitles. It is natural to understand very little at first. Pick up whatever you can: a familiar word, the setting, the mood, a gesture, or what seems to be happening.

You do not need to translate or catch every word. After a few listens, choose Explore the lesson to work through the segments with subtitles and learning tools. You can move on whenever you feel ready.
